第三天:玉山國家公園—鹿林神木—姐妹潭—欣欣民宿—梅子酒庄—日月潭—18 degree C—85 degree C—金山大饭店

In the morning, we woke up at 4.30am. Why? To see the sunrise at Yushan(玉山). As your information, Yushan is a highest mountain in Taiwan. On the way to Yushan, we can see the beautiful scenery of the hills and mountains.

At about 5.30am, we reached the location where we can saw the marvellous view of sunrise.

We were provided with film to see the sunrise.

After that, we went to 鹿林神木, a 2800 years old tree. There are several monkeys around the hill too.

On the way to our homestay, we were “surrounded” by monkeys. One of the monkeys climbed up to our & sitting on our car’s widescreen. Why??? Because they are hungry … We were afraid to go down the car.

After having our breakfast, we were going to another part of Alishan National Forest Recreation Area. Along the trail to Sister Ponds, there is permeable moisture in the air coming which gives off natural aroma essences. It can effectively get rid of your tension & anxiety. At about 2.30pm, we reached at 金山大饭店 to check in & quickly went toward Sun Moon Lake (日月潭). Ticket price for boat is NT$300 per person but we got the discount ticket from our hotel. The earliest boat from 水社码头 is 9.20am and the latest boat from 玄奘寺码头 back is 5pm. Every boat company has their own time schedule.

We reached水社码头 at around 3.00pm and waited for our boat to玄奘寺码头.We were only having 1 hour 30 minutes and unable to visit all the attraction places around玄奘寺码头&伊达邵码头. We only have time to buy herbal egg (茶叶蛋), food and took some photos. Besides that, weather wasn’t good on that day. There is so much fog around and we couldn’t have a clear picture of the sun moon lake.
